Ahu research areas include the analysis of sociological theories, social and political structure of Turkey and the study of social behaviors and attitudes of different social categories, specially of Alevis and young people in Turkey. Her primary fields of study are social psychology, sociology of religion, French sociology and social structure of Turkey.
