Sociologist and human geographer: his areas of expertise related to the project include social participation among youths, juvenile appropriation of urban spaces, as well as qualitative methodology. Moreover, he has worked several years as a community worker with children and youths. Currently he is involved in the Horizon 2020 research programme PARTISPACE and Swiss national Science Foundation funded project PORTA OKJA on spatial practices of youth workers in youth centres. Beyond the project Dominic has been working on topics such as urban and community development, segregation, sustainable regional development as well as migrant entrepreneurship.
